It’s been a couple of years since we last had a BBQ on top of the Martello Tower so last night was time to correct that. Tuesday is our club meeting night and we decided to have a BBQ and do some repair work on the 10m vertical.
It took quite a while to get the BBQ started and because we were all feeling hungry, our resident pyrotechnic expert decided to take matters into his own hands and use some handy available accelerant to get things going.
As usual, Richard, G7HJK did the cooking to help get him in practise for our DXpedition to Herm in October where he’s going to be our chef and be responsible for keeping us alive.
An enjoyable evening was had by all and we managed to resolve the problem with our 10m aerial as well.
