One QSO on day #213, I worked 9A2YM, Steve on 12m. I’ve only had four QSOs on 24MHz so it was nice to use the band again and he was a mighty fine signal!
On day #214 I started off on one of the other WARC bands and spoke to E77YZ, Adis in Sarajevo on 17m. After that I sorted out a new Windows XP Virtual Machine specifically for data comms and had two JT65 QSOs, working RW6AU, Dmitry and UT2SW, Alexander both on 20m.
Day #215 was the monthly meeting of the Hadley Wood Contest Group and I knew I’d be late home so before I left for work I threw the wireless on and had two more JT65 contacts, working WA4UAT, Charles in California and UA6JD, Vlad. JT65 is great for early morning contacts because the radio is completely silent and as the periods of transmission are so long, I can do other things at the same time. It was a good job I had these two early contacts as I didn’t get home until very late and just collapsed into bed.
