Statistics – October 2012

I’ve been a bit cheeky with my QSO count this month as I’ve included the contacts I made while operating as GP0PKT from Herm Island for a few days as part of the Martello Tower Group DXpedition but even without those, I managed a nice lot of QSOs and the DXCC entities worked only includes those from home.

The twelve new countries worked this month were Conway Reef, New Caledonia, Christmas Island, Peru, Rodriguez Island, Western Kiribati, Macao, Antarctica, Sable Island, Montserrat, Papua New Guinea and Costa Rica. I said last month that I was aiming to reach 200 DXCC entities worked in 2012 and I’ve smashed that figure already, having now reached 216 so far this year.

QSOs made: 1940 (1036 using GP0PKT, 904 using G6NHU)
DXCC entities worked: 128
New DXCC entities worked: 12

Total DXCC worked: 232
Total DXCC confirmed using LoTW: 182
Total DXCC confirmed using LoTW/QSL cards: 209
