I fully support this project to reverse engineer the output from the HamClock server. I think this is the best method to try and keep HamClock functioning past June. If we can build another source for the data and replicate that at multiple places around the world we can be sure we won’t end up in this situation again.

Yes, but it’s not a patch on the original.

Will you by any chance be providing layman’s install help for Brian Wilkins’ hamclock just as you did for the original Ham Clock? I tried to install by following the instructions presented in the GitHub page but encountered an error to do with PROC something or other and have no clue as to how to resolve it. There do not appear to be simple instructions for plebs like me who rely on kind geniuses like you.
Hi Erik,
Sorry it’s taken a while to reply, the spam trap on submitted comments has been working overtime and many posts were blocked as spam.
Yes, when the time is right, I’ll be posting step by step guides for all the methods I’m aware of to keep HamClock working, and if any install methods change, I’ll try and keep the items updated in the same way I’ve done with the main HamClock install guide.
